Track Your Donation

As former development volunteers, we understand the importance of accountability and controls in maintaining donor confidence and ensure sustainability. Keeping that in mind, Arete Youth has partnered with C.E.G.A. (Creating Effective Grassroots Alternatives) of Sofia, Bulgaria. C.E.G.A. has many years of experience distributing funds to Bulgarian NGOs for the Ford Foundation, Novib of the Netherlands and several other international institutions. Not only will C.E.G.A. help account for how funds are used, but will support all organizations and donation recipients in any questions that may have.

In this way, Arete Youth is not only tracking your donations but also supporting the development of Bulgarian civil society by enforcing proper reporting procedures. C.E.G.A is responsible for submitting quarterly spending reports and discussing with our team any issues that may arise along the way. Upon the completion of an initiative or upon completion of a school year, we will be reporting the results in our “update” section of each initiative. In addition, each initiative is given the list of donors in order to provide direct updates as well.
