Kimberly founded and directed Camp GLOW in 2000 during her time as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Varna, Bulgaria.
She has more than a decade of experience in communications, media relations and international development. Her career includes working overseas for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in communications and outreach in countries asdiverse as Jamaica and Ethiopia. After the earthquake in Haiti in 2010, Kimberly served with USAID as a public affairs officer as part of the disaster response. Later that year she became the Senior Communications Specialist for President Obama's Feed the Future program, a global hunger and food security initiative. She currently lives in Washington, DC and is the Communications Director for Fintrac, an international development company that implements agricultural solutions to end hunger and poverty in Latin America, Africa, and Asia.
She is also a certified yoga teacher and avid photographer.
