Carl Hammerdorfer
Board Member
Carl recently became the Director of the Global Social Sustainable Enterprise program at Colorado State University. An entrepreneur with twenty years of experience internationally and domestically, Carl has also worked at the grass-roots level as a Peace Corps Volunteer and as the senior country/regional manager for a variety of international organizations. In addition, he has extensive experience forming and launching cooperatives. He was co-founder of the Mainstreet Cooperative Group in 2001. His current passion is in developing and applying enterprise solutions that solve chronic development challenges to produce triple bottom-line results. He is fluent in German, French and Bulgarian and speaks passable Bambara. He lives with his wife Kathy (RPCV Mali '90) and their three sons in Fort Collins, Colorado.
